Romans 7 and the Beauty of the Gospel

This episode focuses on the text of Romans 7, picking up where Paul left off in Romans 6 that we must die like Christ so that we may be married to another. To do that implies, of course, that we must be resurrected just as Christ was raised.

Under law, there was no justification. In Christ, the law of sin is dead in so far as our intent and purpose. We do not serve sin, nor let it reign in our mortal bodies. So, when we do sin, it is not with the mind or heart but with the flesh.
