Twisting the Scriptures (Part 2)

This is a continuation of commonly misinterpreted passages of Scripture. It emphasizes the importance of Paul's instruction to Timothy to devote himself to his teaching.

One example used in this blog is 1 Corinthians 1:17, a passage used by preachers of certain denominations to prove the unimportance of baptism. Whether true or not, this illustrates the propensity of teachers to pull things from the Bible to prove their doctrinal position.
